Pearl Care
To maintain the beauty of your pearl jewellery, gently wipe each piece with a soft cloth to remove oils and dirt. Avoid submerging or exposing pearls to water, detergents, alcohol, or other cleaning solutions. Pearls naturally respond best to a chemical-free clean.
Ensure your pearl jewellery doesn’t come into contact with hairspray, cosmetics, sun creams, lotions, or perfumes, as these substances can harm the nacre. Handle your jewellery delicately, and avoid wearing it while swimming, showering, sleeping, or playing sports. Strand Care
Each Anka Sami pearl strand is hand-strung using natural silk thread with a knot between each pearl for protection and durability. Over time, the silk thread may fray or loosen, which is considered natural wear and tear. To maintain the integrity of your strand, please bring it to Anka Sami for restringing, as this service is not covered under our warranty.

Plating and Finishes
Plating and colored finishes on gold or silver items will naturally wear over time due to environmental factors and frequency of wear. Please note that wear and tear of plated or color-coated jewellery is not covered under our warranty.

Silver Care
Sterling silver is prone to tarnishing when exposed to air. To prevent this, regularly clean your silver jewellery using a silver polishing cloth with anti-tarnish agents. Although gentle silver cleaning solutions can be used, ensure they do not come into contact with pearls. Perspiration and body chemicals can also cause silver to tarnish or blacken, especially for some individuals. To keep your silver bright, polish regularly.

Wires, Chains, Omegas, and Other Rigid Pieces
Non-flexible jewellery items, such as wires and chains, require careful handling as they are delicate. Avoid pressure, pulling, or impact, which can lead to misshaping. These types of damage are usually irreversible. Store these items flat, in their original case, away from other jewellery to avoid accidental damage.

Leather and Neoprene Care
Leather and neoprene can be damaged by direct sunlight, humidity, and chemicals, which may cause discoloration and deterioration. Body oils and perspiration can harden these materials over time. Avoid wearing your leather or neoprene items in swimming pools or spas, as chemicals will cause hardening. To clean, wipe them with a soft, dry cloth. If exposed to liquids, gently pat dry with a soft, lint-free cloth, and allow to air dry naturally.

What You Need to Know
Refund and Exchange Policy
At Anka Sami, we may accept gifted items for exchange or credit if returned within 14 days of purchase, along with the original receipt and packaging. The item must be unworn and pass our Quality Control Assessment. This applies only to jewellery purchased directly from Anka Sami. Custom or altered items are not eligible for return.

If you receive an incorrect or misdescribed item, we can replace it or issue a credit note, subject to our Quality Control and availability.
Return shipping, duties, and fees are the responsibility of the sender.

Anka Sami offers a one-year warranty from the date of purchase against defects in material and/or workmanship on all of the products that we sell, with the exception of Custom Jewellery pieces and non-jewellery items, such as homewares / accessories on which Anka Sami offers a one-year warranty from the date of purchase. This excludes items where the pearl does not match a photo seen online, as every pearl is individual and pearls will appear different to those pictured online. Anka Sami will only replace or repair items where the pearl does not fit the product description.
If your item has a fault, is not fit for its original purpose or is otherwise not of merchantable quality, then we will assess the item to determine the fault and its cause. If our assessment concludes that the fault is covered by our warranty, we will either repair or replace that item at no additional cost. Proof of purchase must be provided for any warranty or repair to be undertaken. If it is not possible to repair or replace the item, then we may offer an exchange, credit note or refund.
The Anka Sami warranty does not cover items damaged as a result of misuse, unauthorised repairs, accidents, alterations, exposure to corrosive or abrasive substances or other factors outside of normal expected use and Anka Sami denies any obligation to take any action in respect of such damaged items. Please refer to the product care information below, for instructions on care and handling of your items.

Charges apply for all repairs not covered by the Anka Sami warranty.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced in case of a minor failure.

What constitutes major and minor failure is set out in Australian Consumer Law. The Anka Sami warranty does not modify or exclude such guarantees but is additional.

As quality is important for Anka Sami, each piece is lovingly created and come with a warranty.

Limited Warranty
All items of Jewellery produced by Anka Sami are guaranteed against defective workmanship and materials and will be replaced or repaired upon assessment. The warranty covers the findings, brass, steel, gold & silver plating only and is valid for 6 months from the purchase date. For the warranty to be valid it is necessary that special care has been applied when wearing or handling your jewellery, otherwise the warranty will be void. Cover does not extend to loss, theft or damage by "accident", "negligence", "fair wear and tear" or "Act of God".

Anka Sami Custom Jewellery
Anka Sami Custom jewellery is lovingly crafted by hand in our South Fremantle studio.
Anka Sami Custom jewellery items come with a certificate of Authenticity and a two year warranty. We invite you to take advantage of our annual, complimentary clean and polish service. Each year, on the anniversary of your purchase, you're welcome to bring your custom make back to be assessed and cleaned free of charge. If an item is not brought in for review, within a year or more then the warranty may be void.

Other Items
Suncatchers, Dreamcatchers, Feather Smudge Wands, Tensor energy tools and Organite all carry a warranty of 6 months from the purchase date. All items produced by Anka Sami are guaranteed against defective workmanship and materials and will be replaced or repaired upon assessment. Cover does not extend to loss, theft or damage by "accident", "negligence", "fair wear and tear" or "Act of God". For the warranty to be valid it is necessary that special care has been applied when handling your items, otherwise the warranty will be void.

*Please note brass findings on earrings and crystal suncatchers exposed to creams, perfumes, chemicals, or outdoors to direct sunlight and weather can tarnish and pitt if exposed for prolonged periods of time. To ensure longevity of your item please periodically clean in mild soapy water and gently pat dry. Without regular care the item will tarnish over time and can be cleaned with Brasso but if pitting occurs to prolonged exposure its effects can be permanent so regular care is advised.

Anka Sami's warranty does NOT cover:
Broken pieces
Lost stones
General wear and tear, improper handling or lack of care of the product
Damages caused by repairs, or adjustments carried out by a third party
